About

I'm Leilani, and I sing with The Saltwater Social: six of us, trumpet and tenor sax included, playing the soul, Motown and funk songs that get your aunties and your uni friends on the same dance floor.

We started with Friday nights at a little bar in Burleigh nine years ago and never really stopped. We bring our own sound and lights, learn your first dance if it isn't already in our set, and play the last song loud enough that nobody wants to go home. For ceremonies, three of us come early and play it acoustic.
